It’s been on my mind for quite a while now and I have decided to write a weekly (perhaps) blog. It’s been mentioned by several people and came up again at a family party last weekend. Friends and family asked why I had stopped as they had enjoyed reading it and the grandchildren are quite insistent that I write and mention them as often as possible.
Today is Friday 13th – is that a good day to start anything? I just remember that in Spain Tuesday 13th is the one to fear so it just proves it’s all a load of tosh. Upwards and onwards.
As you know it started as an Isolation Blog during lockdown and I wrote 269 pages, or days. I blogged about staying at home, not staying at home, being bored or not and mostly I enjoyed commenting on stuff in the news. We had both Trump and BoJo in power and they were always good for a few Nanny June wisecracks. I then added a few pages after lockdown just blogging about mainly family stuff if and when something happened that I considered special. From now on I will blog about anything that pops into my head, more like a weekly column in a newspaper. As I write I’m remembering all the recent events that deserve a mention. Starting with a change in government, the fact that summer decided not to happen this year, CB was filmed for tv, grandkids finished Uni with the obvious graduations and found jobs or didn’t. My mind is filled with memories that maybe I should mention. Too much for one day’s blog so I’ll finish this one here and remind you all ‘Let’s be careful out there’. I’ll be back soon maybe tomorrow – quizas quizas quizas…..
