I was once described as a serial grandmother. I had three children, two girls and a boy, they were all born in Spain and are all now married, live in England and had eight children between them. I later married Sandy in England who had five children who are married and had thirteen children who in turn have had eight children. In Spain I had a stepdaughter who has two boys. Maybe this is why my pages have ended up being called NannyJune. I’ll probably blog about all these fabulous people as time goes on.
In the recipe section I’ll be sharing some of my favourite dishes and food with you. I could always cook from quite a young age and learnt to love different flavours when I lived in Madrid. I’ll try to remember the ones I loved most and give tips and instructions on how to make them work in England. There will, of course be English favourites such as my quick and easy Dorset Apple Cake. I might steal a recipe or two from my grandson Christian who is turning into a very accomplished chef.
