In the US Covid-19 is sweeping across the states and now has killed more than 150,000 Americans. The POTUS is still not taking the situation seriously and is instead focusing on TikTok which he says he is going to ban – tomorrow. I wonder if that is a proper tomorrow or a mañana type tomorrow? He is also still musing as to why people might not like him but then he can’t see that he might have made a few mistakes along the way.
Three sisters in Russia killed their father after, they claimed, suffering years of physical and sexual abuse at his hands. One night after he had sprayed them with pepper causing one sister to lose consciousness due to her asthma they decided to stab him to death while he slept. They tried to camouflage the murder by causing injuries on themselves and claiming self defence but later admitted to their crime and were charged with premeditated murder. The trial is about to start in Moscow and although the charge had been reduced to necessary self defence it has recently been changed back to premeditated murder. The Russian Orthodox church has become involved defending ‘traditional values’ which are not helping the girls. It is a known fact that the sisters suffered long term abuse causing them to suffer ‘abuse syndrome’ and post-traumatic stress disorder but the future is not looking good for them. 80% of women in jail for premeditated murder were trying to protect themselves from an abuser.
I’ve tried to keep away from the prince Andrew saga as it is too ghastly to merit a mention. But now the newly released court documents state, apparently, that Epstein instigated the abuse of minors by powerful people to then use the information he held against them for his own personal gain. He could basically blackmail the abusers to gain financially, personally and politically. It seems to have worked as Andrew tried to lobby the US on behalf of Epstein when he was facing trial. He played the same sick game with numerous world leaders and politicians. Let’s not forget that all the people involved were willing to become abusers. No doubt the names will become public soon and more heads will roll.
A recent survey was carried out across England to find out which people were more likely to strip off and engage in sexual activity in a public place, during hot weather. The city that came out on top was Bristol where it seems 19% of Bristolians admitted to enjoying being naughty in a park or similar. Don’t know who they conducted their survey on but would be interesting to find out. Now my lovely grandson Henry goes to university in that city so I shall quiz him on the matter. He reached the ripe old age of 20 today so here’s wishing him a very Happy Birthday in Begur, Spain where people are much more circumspect. Good night one and all. 😴💤😴
